UVI COMPUTER LABS - RULES

to the UVI Computer Labs
Please
enjoy but respect others at all times
*The UVI Computer Labs are open to All UVI
Students , ID's may be requested for identification.
*Class work takes priority over "Surfing" "Chatting" and
"Playing"
Please vacate your machine if there is
a student in need of a machine for school assignments!
*Monitors are available for assistance as per the schedules posted on the NET
and Lab doors
*Labs schedules are posted on doors and the Computer lab home page
*NO* Food or beverages allowed
*NO* Children
*NO* Cell Phones -Please place on vibrate or
off and take your conversations outside!
*NO* Music
*NO* Loud talking - Please have respect for
those working!
*NO* Unauthorized software or hardware
*NO* Removal of Equipment from the labs or from University connections
*NO* Use of Laptops with Lab Printers, laptop users , please walk with your own
network cable.
*NO* Using UVI network connections without
authorization or registering your laptop with IT
*NO* Use of Zip drives or other coping devices, Pen drives ( Jump, USB) are
allowed
Printed copies are limited to 5 copies per
article. Copying machines are located in the library for additional copies
Please clear your trash (papers, etc.) upon leaving - It is NOT! the Monitors
job and the next student will appreciate it!
With everyones' help we can keep the labs open and pleasant for ALL!
