| Welcome to Science 210, an on-line study of the earth's weather. The majority of the course content is provided by the American Meteorological Society (AMS). (Visit the On-line Weather Studies course sample.) This is an Asynchronous Distant Learning course that is partially delivered over the Internet. A textbook and companion study guide, Online Weather Studies Textbook and Study Guide - 3rd Ed by Joseph M. Moran, are used in conjunction with the online material. There will be a 1-hour tutorial meeting each week. Attendance is required! This course is a laboratory science course and may be used for partial fulfillment of UVI's General Education Science requirements.
The professor for the Spring 2008 semester and instructor for the St. Thomas campus tutorial is Dr. David J. Smith. The instructor for the St. Croix campus tutorial is Dr. Al Lewit.
