Cathodic Protection

Cathodic protection is used to protect concrete structures that are subject to an exceptionally corrosive environment. From your study of ozidation/reduction in this module, you know that corrosion, rusting in particular, is essentially an electrical process similar to that which powers batteries. Cathodic Protection (CP) is a clever way of countering corrosion through electricity. A few questions to address are:
