WASTE MANAGEMENT QUESTIONS  

Proper management of houshold wastes is important to you, your neighbors and the community as a whole. Among the things you might want to consider when forming your questions are:

• Look at the various types of septics systems and investigate how ground structure (rocky, clay, etc.) effects the choice of a septic system. Consider any future developments for the property and how that would effect the choice and/or location of the septic system.

• Consider the details of local waste disposal services and the status of the local landfill areas. What issues (for example, health and economic issues) are of concern to you?

• Look at the grey water systems outlined in the special projects section and consider whether or not you would like to have such a system.
