Leslie Greene is the Science and Math Enrichment Coordinator. She has been with the University of the Virgin Islands for the past eight years and active in the field of math education and tutoring for over twenty years, focusing on teaching mathematics and strengthening foundational skills in students. Through the Math & Science Lab, Ms. Greene works collaboratively with the Center for Student Success (CSS), tutors, faculty, learners receiving tutoring, and other various university departments to provide comprehensive and integrated academic support and resources to students; most specifically in the areas of mathematics, business administration and science. She coordinates and manages the existing tutoring program pairing students with an appropriate peer tutor, ensuring a safe and comfortable learning environment, performing tutorials, and offering advice on what students can independently do to improve their skills. When Leslie is not working at the tutorial center, she volunteers for varying environmental projects, and is an animal lover. A New Yorker turned Crucian, Leslie is hardworking and conscientious about student needs.
