For me, nursing began while I was a student in the Health Occupations Program at the St. Croix Central High School.  Since then, nursing has been my passion.  I grew up in Frederiksted, St. Croix and my mother, Deloris Skepple, was very supportive of my nursing career.

I spent four years serving my country as a military nurse in the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of Captain.  I was honorably discharged in 2001.  I have also worked as a nurse in Texas, Georgia, St. Thomas and the Commonwealth of Dominica.

I hold certifications in inpatient obstetrics, childbirth education, and neonatal resuscitation.
