Johns Hopkins Nursing Students Share Experiences with UVI Students

Eight nursing students from Johns Hopkins University came to St. Croix this past week to complete a community health nursing course.  While their clinical experiences took them to various agencies, such as the Queen Louise Home, they found time to learn about the culture of St. Croix by spending time with UVI nursing students.  A beach party at Cramer's Park brought the groups together to share local foods and beverages as well as differing interpretations of the weather.  While the students from Baltimore thought the weather was sunny and warm, Crucians were complaining about the "cold front" that was passing through the Territory.

The students will complete their clinical experiences on St. Croix by conducting health screenings at the Agriculture and Food Fair this weekend.
