Just call me the Veteran. I actually was an Army Nurse for three years
after I completed my basic nursing education, so the name actually applies in
more than one way. I've been at UVI since 1984. During more than twenty years
of service, I have worked tirelessly to maintain high standards, foster
continued program improvement and most importantly, provide students with the
knowledge, skills and attitudes they need to become competent and caring nurses.
I'm so proud of the many graduates I have taught through the years and I wish
they were all still here on St. Croix! I am especially hopeful that
someday I will be joined by graduates who have gone on to complete their
advanced degrees and want to return to teach at UVI.
