Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Graduation, and Father's Day remind us how important it is to remember those we admire and love. Making an "honor" or "memorial" gift to the University of the Virgin Islands is a thoughtful way to honor or memorialize a living or deceased individual who is admired, loved and respected.

An "Honor Gift" for a family member, friend, or special person can be made at anytime and can be added to by other people who know the honoree. Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, job promotions, thank yous are wonderful times to make an Honor Gift.

Typically, a "Memorial Fund" is established by a family member or representative, immediately after the death of a beloved individual, so that notification can be placed in the obituary to allow others to give to the Fund "in lieu of flowers".
