The UVI Nursing Division offers programs which prepare
students to function as beginning practitioners of nursing. The
Baccalaureate of Science Degree Program is offered on the St. Thomas campus
and the Associate of Science Degree Program is offered on the St. Croix
campus. Both programs are accredited by the National League
for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
Program graduates are eligible to apply to take the NCLEX-RN examination
for licensure as a registered nurse.
In order to enter and progress in nursing courses at UVI,
a student must have:

a 2.0 ("C") cumulative grade point average
-
a grade of at least 2.0 ("C") in all required prerequisite
courses in chemistry and/or biology

a grade of at least 2.0 ("C") in all required nursing courses
