Dining room tables, spoons, pens, sculptures, carvings and much more - all made by hand using wood - will be on display at the second annual Virgin Islands Woodworkers Expo at the UVI Great Hall on St. Croix from Dec. 7 through 9.

Some of the finest woodworkers in the territory will display and sell their pieces. Demonstrations will be made by master woodworkers including Avelino Samuel of St. John, Afreekan Southwell of St. Thomas and Bien Brignoni of St. Croix.

The expo opens at 1 p.m. on Dec. 7; and at 10 a.m. on Dec. 8 and 9. There will be a special showing for junior and senior high school carpentry, woodworking and art vocational classes at 10 a.m. on Dec. 7.
