58 Join Golden Key on UVI's St.Thomas Campus |

The University of the Virgin Islands Chapter of Golden Key International Honour Society announced the addition of 58 students during its annual induction ceremony held on Sunday, Feb. 10 on the St. Thomas campus. Holly DeLaura, assistant director of U.S. University Relations for Golden Key International Society, spoke briefly about the history of the organization and presented the inductees with their certificates. For the first time in UVI history, 14 graduate students were inducted into Golden Key's St. Thomas campus chapter. Leonilda Jarvis, executive secretary of the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, served as the guest speaker. Jarvis is a UVI alumna, Golden Key member and a UVI graduate student. Her son, Glenfield Jarvis, was inducted during the ceremony. UVI Professor Linda Wymer and Student Housing Supervisor Sean Georges were inducted as honorary members of Golden Key.
