Osborne-Elliott Named Associate Administrator |

UVI Executive Administrator for the St. Croix Campus Dr. Monique A. Guillory has announced the appointment of Miriam Osborne-Elliott as Associate Campus Administrator for Student Affairs effective today - Monday, April 28. Osborne-Elliott joined UVI in 1992 and has served in a variety of positions in Student Affairs. For the past three years she has worked as Assistant Director of the Virgin Islands University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (VIUCEDD). In Student Affairs she worked as a counselor and later as counseling and placement supervisor. She also served as acting associate chancellor for Student Affairs. In her new position, Osborne-Elliott will oversee the Counseling and Placement, Student Activities and Health Services offices as well as the Residence Life Area on the St. Croix campus. She also currently serves as the administrative staff representative to the UVI Staff Council. A graduate of Charlotte Amalie High School, Osborne-Elliott studied at Howard University, earning a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Secondary Education. She also holds a Masters of Education in Student Affairs in Higher Education with concentration in Counseling from Howard. Prior to returning to the territory, she worked in student affairs at Howard University. In 2004 she earned a certificate in management development at the Harvard Institute of Higher Education. Osborne-Elliott is an active member of the community, serving on several local and national boards and community organizations. She is married and has a daughter.
