The University of the Virgin Islands Board of Trustees will hold its quarterly meeting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, in the Administration and Conference Center on UVI’s St. Thomas campus. The meeting will convene with regular session agenda items. President LaVerne E. Ragster will give the President's Report, followed by Chairman's Comments from Board Chairman Dr. Auguste E. Rimpel, Jr. Following the Chairman's Comments, the Board will consider the items that require action.

At the meeting Board members will elect the chair and vice chair of the Board for the 2008-2009 year. Other items requiring the Board’s action include the faculty policy manual and a proposed tuition, fees and room rate increase.

The Board will review a presentation of UVI's key performance indicators. The Research and Technology Park Board will also give an update. Up for discussion will be a presentation by UVI administration on Experiential Learning for Students at UVI. A number of consent agenda items will also be discussed.

The Board will go into executive session before being adjourned. The UVI Board of Trustees last met on March 15, on St. Croix.
