UVI’s School of Education has scheduled the first of a series of monthly Brown Bag Luncheons for faculty and staff during which members of the faculty will share information about and discuss research done in their classrooms.
The luncheon is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 12:13 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6. It will be available via videoconference in Teacher Education Room 101 on St. Thomas and in Evans Center Room 713 on St. Croix.
The presenters will be Dr. Nancy Morgan, who will share research on “The Effects of Topic Selection on Motivation and Achievements in the English Proficiency Examination at UVI” and Dr. Rita Howard, who’s classroom study’s seeks to determine if student active engagement through content-based questions (CBQ) and student team collaboration will enhance student content knowledge in an Educational Psychology course – EDU 230.
