UVI's Afternoon on the Green Committee is seeking nominations for two scholarships presented annually at the popular Afternoon on the Green "friendraiser" held each March on the St. Thomas campus. Nominations are sought for the UVI Student Volunteer of the Year Scholarship and for the UVI Volunteer of the Year Scholarship. The scholarships – valued at $3,000 for the student and $1,000 for the non-student – are designed to honor individuals who provide significant contributions of service to either UVI or to the Virgin Islands community.

  

The deadline to submit application forms and materials is Feb. 15, 2013. Applications and information are available from the UVI Office of Institutional Advancement.
