The Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (CELL) Center was established to meet the workforce and professional development training needs critical to the economic prosperity of the Virgin Islands and surrounding Caribbean islands. CELL focuses on providing quality training opportunities designed to contribute to organizational and individual achievement.

CELL supports the University's mission of research, teaching and public service through human resource development, professional services, consulting activities and programs that provide enriching experience.

Accreditation

UVICELL is an authorized provider of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). As an authorized provider, UVICELL can grant IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs), an internationally recognized measure of quality in continuing education and training programs. 


American Management Association (AMA) Certificate Programs

UVICELL has partnered with the AMA, the most recognized name in management training, to provide you with skills that translate into productivity and career growth. Earn widely recognized credentials and Continuing Education Units(CEUs).


American Council on Education (ACE)

The American Council on Education's College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT) evaluated and recommended college credits for a number of UVICELL courses. The American Council on Education is the major coordinating body for all the nation's higher education institutions. ACE CREDIT helps adults gain access to academic credit at colleges and universites for formal courses and examinations taken in the workplace or other settings outside traditional higher education.
