A FREE Symposium open to the public
Friday, April 12, 2013 - St. Thomas campus
8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

- Dr. Marla Frederick (Harvard University)
- Dr. Safiya George Dalmida (Emory University)
- Dr. Chenzira Kahina (University of the Virgin Islands)
The purpose of this symposium is to provide an academic platform that allows for open dialogue between students, faculty, administration and professionals in the field of spirituality and higher education. It will consist of symposium materials, interactive sessions between both campuses followed by Q&A, panel discussions and much more. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served.
This workshop will be open to the University community, the Government of the Virgin Islands, private businesses, schools, organizations and individuals. The first day on St. Thomas will be on March 12 in the First Floor Conference Room of the Administration and Conference Center on the St. Thomas campus of the University. The second day will be on the St. Croix campus. Both days are scheduled to take place from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm.
