Responsibilities/Skills Required:
- Development and maintenance of websites
- Proficiency in web development program
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Proven ability to manage projects, multitask and to be organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and extremely dynamic environment
Education and Experience required for the job:
- Two years of experience in a similar position
- Proven experience working in a LAMP environment
- Extensive experience utilizing the following; Web 2.0, AJAX, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and XML, JSON, jQuery
- Experience with Source Control Tools such as Subversion or git
- Experience with relational database design and development
- Ability to write optimized and complex queries for MySQL
- SOAP (or equivalent)
- Familiar with POO and design patterns
- Experience with at least one PHP framework (such as CakePhp, Zend...)
- Experience with at least one CMS (such as Wordpress, Joomla...)
- Portfolio appreciated
- e-Commerce websites experience is a plus
