As parents, it is naturalto want to know if your child has visted or been assisted by Counseling Services after you have made a referral.  Research has consistently shown that the most inportant factor in counseling effectivness is the relationship between the counselor and client.  The foundation of that relationship is trust.  In order for students privacy will be repected.  As a result, Counseling Services will not provide any information about a student without his/her written permission via a signed Release of Information form.
