Bachelor of Science (BS): Major in Computer Science
The bachelor in computer science degree is intended for students who plan on starting a professional career in computer science immediately after graduation or for students who intend to pursue graduate studies. The program provides a strong professional foundation in computer science, mathematics and science, and includes electives which can be selected to provide exposure to an application area in science or computer information systems. Associate of Science (AS): Major in Computer Science
The associate of science degree in computer science is intended to provide a sound foundation in computer science and to develop professional skills in programming and networks. It is also designed to serve as an intermediate step towards acquiring the baccalaureate degree in computer science. Depending upon previous educational background, this associate degree can be completed in two to three years on either the St. Thomas or St. Croix campus.
