Tuition and Fees

The cost of tuition for the academic year 2008-2009 is $290.00 per graduate credit for Virgin Islands residents and $580.00 per graduate credit for non-residents.

Registration fee -   $30.00
Technology fee -    $50.00
Property fee -    $50.00
Student activity fee - $20.00
Health services fee -  $40.00

 

Other Costs
Books    $600.00 per calendar year

 


Financial Support

  • Applicants who currently teach in the public school system should apply to the Human Resources Division of Virgin Islands Department of Education for financial support.  Substantial support has been provided in the past.
  • Applicants may contact the Financial Aid office at the University of the Virgin Islands for information on Federal Financial Assistance.
  • Several Caribbean governments offer education grants and/or loans to their nationals studying abroad.  Applicants should contact their home governments.
  • At the University of the Virgin Islands, the William Koeir Scholarship is available to international students in an amount worth between $2000 and $3000.  The application period runs from February 15 to March 15 each year.  For further information, contact university’s Office of Institutional Programs.
