Global Leadership Development - Program Information


This is an intensive two-week Course designed to equip participants with the broad knowledge and functional skills necessary to assume leadership and management roles in local and international environments that are being shaped by global forces of technology, commerce, and communication. The Course focuses on the following three main areas:

  1. Global Business Environment and Strategic Planning
  2. Leadership and Management for Tomorrow
  3. Culture and Communication

Additional information on these main areas can be found within the curriculum.

Outcome
Those who successfully complete the course will receive 3.0 credit points at UVI and a Certificate in Global Leadership Development. Also, any participant who attends the “International Conference on Leadership, Management and Strategic Development” that GILMD is hosting will receive a Certificate of Participation.

Cost
$2,300 per participant (excluding airfares) but this includes tuition, books, accommodation and meals, field trips and ground transportation. If the new UVI hostel is available and you stay there the price may increase slightly.

Course Duration Hours
55 hours over a period of two weeks (covering lectures, case studies, role plays, discussions, seminars, group work, extracurricular activities that include visitations to historical sites, social, cultural, political, governmental institutions and commercial centers).
