The Associate of Arts Degree Nursing Program originated on the St. Thomas Campus and was initially accredited by the National League for Nursing in 1968. The Program moved to St. Croix in 1982 and was changed to an Associate of Science Degree in 1987. Whether as an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science in Nursing, the Program has maintained continuous accreditation since 1968, and has a proud history of helping to meet the health care needs of the people of the Virgin Islands.
