Research areas include inclusion of students with disabilities, positive behavorial support, disability awareness, school climate, restructuring public schools, achievement motivation, and universal design.  Research interests and specialties are self concept, school climate, achievement motivation, universal design, assistive technology, inclusive education, and interdisciplinary education.
