How to Request a Transcript
Current students, and former students who still have access to Banner Self Service, may generate their unofficial transcripts online without charge. Official or unofficial transcripts may be requested online, in person or by mail from the Office of Access & Enrollment Services. The request must be submitted by the owner of the transcript; third parties must present a signed authorization from the owner, in order to receive it. Each transcript costs $10, and will be generated after payment is received. You may choose to have your transcript dispatched in 3 ways:

3) By FedEx or DHL (St. Thomas campus only) for a fee
You may also opt to pick up your transcript from our office, or request that it be delivered to your designated agent, who must present a government-issued picture ID in order to be handed the document.
Transcripts will be issued only on the request of the owner or upon receipt of a signed release. Payment must be made before transcript is produced.
Electronic transcripts are official and sent in a secure environment, on the University’s behalf, by eScrip-Safe which UVI contracted for this purpose. You may request official and unofficial transcripts online.
Online forms require the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Download free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Complete the form and click SUBMIT at the end. If necessary, we will contact you to confirm your identity before generating the transcript. The process typically takes 1-2 days. You may view a list of schools that receive transcripts from eScrip-Safe by clicking on the “click here” link beside Electronic Network Recipient in the lower left box. You must supply the name and email address of the recipient at institutions outside of the Scrip-safe network, after confirming that an official transcript sent via Scrip-safe is acceptable.
In-person Transcript Requests
The transcript request form is available from the Registrar’s Web page or the Access & Enrollment Services reception desk on either campus, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. The transcript will be sent by USPS regular mail. If you wish to pick up your transcript, check the relevant box on the form. Official transcripts will be delivered in a sealed, stamped envelope with the flap stamped “Unofficial if seal is broken”. The transcript is normally produced in 2-3 days.
Each transcript costs $10 which also covers the cost of USPS mail. The applicant will be responsible for additional shipping costs (if any). All payments must be made at the cashier’s office during the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or by telephone using a credit card.
