Residence hall living promotes the interaction of students from various places, ethnic backgrounds, academic disciplines, and cultures.  In addition to the benefits of experiencing cultural diversity and cross-cultural exchanges, one of the main advantages of on-campus living is accessibility to academic resources, student support programs and services including tutoring, the library, computer labs, counseling, and the bookstore.  It is the mission of the Student Housing Department to provide an atmosphere conducive to learning and comfortable for all on- campus residents.
