Honoring Our Past for the World to See, Celebrating UVI's Golden Jubilee
Members of the UVI community as
well as the general public are invited to join the UVI 2012 Carnival
troupe which will participate in the St. Thomas Carnival's Adults Parade
on April 28th. This year UVI highlights and promotes the success of the
University by celebrating its 50th Anniversary. Carnival Theme:
“Honoring Our Past for the World to See, Celebrating UVI’s Golden
Jubilee.”
Sections
Troupe sections all depict some aspect of the University –
Heart of Gold, Golden Achievement, and Buccaneer Pride (Both Male &
Female).
Registration/Payment
Registration forms are available at the Student Affairs Office
(upstairs of the student laundry) and the Student Activities Office.
Payment confirms registration and can be made at the Office of the
Associate Campus Administrator for Student Affairs, located upstairs of
the Student Laundry between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Each section has a 25
maximum.

Cost
UVI Carnival t-shirts are on sale at the UVI Bookstore. Shirts cost $12 for small to XL, and $15 for adults 2XL to 3XL.

NOTE: (1) APPLICATION MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A NON-REFUNDABLE FEE OF $25.00; (2) A $75 deposit must be made by March 30th to secure your costume. Please note that boots/shoes are not included in the cost (3) DEADLINE FOR ALL APPLICANTS IS APRIL 4TH and FINAL PAYMENT MUST BE MADE BY APRIL 10TH. (4) Please make CASH or MONEY ORDER payments to the address below.
