This creeping vine helps prevent beach erosion.  It has pink/purple flowers, thick, long seedpods, and alternate leaves composed of 3 leaflets.  The leaflets lie open and flat in the morning but fold along the midrib as the sun rises. (due to form, this species is not tagged)
