VIUCEDD Consumer Advisory Council

Virgin Islands University Center for Excellence on Developmental Disabilities’ (VIUCEDD) Consumer Advocacy Council meets a minimum of twice a year and serves in an advisory capacity. The functions of the Council are to provide feedback, bring ideas forward and review current programs and documents. Eighty-five (85) percent of its members are either people with disabilities or are family members of a person with a disability. The membership is comprised of individuals from both island districts.
The members are: Kathleen Taylor, Clive Rivers, Gwendolyn Powell, Carmen Huertas, Carden White, Iselyne Hennessey, Edita Carty, Willie Lewis, Joe Cooler, Carrie Johns (Special Education), Vernon Finch, Felicia Brownlow, and Amelia Headley Lamont.
