This page includes the prerequisites for entry into clinical nursing, the program of study (including the number of classroom and lab hours for each course during the clinical nursing sequence), progression requirements and graduation requirements.

LPN Advanced Placement:  LPNs may enter NUR 142 (Adult I) after meeting all prerequisites for entry into the clinical nursing sequence.  Upon successful completion of NUR 142 (Adult I), ten advanced placement credits will be granted including:

NUR 100 (Medical Terminology)                                   
NUR 104 (Drug Dosage Calculation)                                                  
NUR 131 (Nursing Skills Acquisition)
NUR 132 (Introduction to the Nurse-Client System)
