Aquaculture - Cage Culture

Cage culture is a production option for farmers with existing watershed ponds.  Because these ponds are difficult to drain, fish produced in them  can only be harvested if they have been confined in cages for rearing.

The Aquaculture Program developed a simple cage design with a demand feeder that can be deployed in a pond, stocked with fish and harvested at the end of the production period.
