Admission Guidelines for Transfer Applicants

Students transferring from another university or college must submit all information required by a regular applicant. In addition, the director of student affairs of the institution from which the student is transferring will be requested to submit a confidential report on the student’s conduct.  To be admitted as a transfer student, the candidate must have completed at least 12 semester credits and achieved at least a 2.00 cumulative grade point average, on a 4.00 scale, at the college(s) attended. Applicants who do not meet the cumulative average requirement may be enrolled as non-matriculated students. These students may subsequently apply for matriculated status after earning a minimum of 18 credits in degree courses with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00 on a 4.00 scale at the University of the Virgin Islands.  For further information please check out UVI catalog.
