Current RoyaltyMurchtricia Charles was crowned Miss UVI 2013-2014 during the 33rd Annual Miss UVI Ambassadorial Competition held Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the St. Croix Educational Complex High School. In addition to receiving the overall title, Ms. Charles acquired the titles of Miss Intellect, Miss Congeniality and Best Talent. Ms. Charles is a 19 year old upcoming junior majoring in Mathematics with a concentration in Computational Biology. Throughout her reign, she hopes to further implement her platform: Utilizing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) to Enrich the Education of the Students in the Virgin Islands. Murchtricia aspires to receive her PhD in Computational Mathematics at a mainland university and then return to the Virgin Islands to open her own high school which focuses on STEM Education. 

Denicia Suarez, 20, a junior nursing major came in 1st runner up. She earned the titles of Best Ambassadorial Presentation, Best Evening Wear, and Miss Photogenic.  Suarez was born on St. Croix and attends the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix. Estella Obando, 20, is also a junior nursing major. She won Miss Popularity; she was born on St. Croix and attends the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix.
