The public is invited to attend an engaging and expressive Spoken Word Slam hosted by the class, featuring students from ENG 301, along with a special recognition of newly inducted members of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society.
The event will take place on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 12:00 noon and will be held virtually via Zoom.

This dynamic showcase will highlight the creative voices and literary talents of ENG 301 students, including Nandi Charles, Kiara Davis, Calyse Garvey, Anaisha Harris, Saidah Sekou-Taylor, Shirey, Makayla Taylor, and Sheba White.
In addition, the program will recognize the following Sigma Tau Delta inductees:
Nandi Charles, Kiara Davis, Devon Pelle, Jadynn Sibilly, and Anjeness Williams.
The Spoken Word Slam promises to be an inspiring event celebrating storytelling, performance, and academic excellence. Faculty, students, and community members are encouraged to attend and support these talented individuals.
