UVICELL to Offer Food Crafting Classes Using the Wilton Method Classes Beginning Sept. 9

UVI’s Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (UVICELL) Center is partnering with Wilton Enterprises to provide residents with an opportunity to expand their capabilities and creativity with Wilton Method classes. Wilton is the leading company in the food crafting industry, achieving the number one positon in cake decorating and bakeware. Students will learn to create cakes and treats using the world’s most popular cake decorating courses.

Course 1 – Building Butter Cream Skills – will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, starting Sept. 9. Sessions will be held at the UVICELL Center on the St. Thomas Campus. Participants will learn a broad set of buttercream decorating techniques using the Wilton Method and will develop skills that can be used for any decorating project.
