UVI Community Invited to National Latino AIDS Awareness Day “Zumba”

Love to Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha, Mambo or Rumba? The UVI community is invited to “ZUMBA,” be held in recognition of National Latino AIDS Awareness Day, 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 16, in the UVI Bookstore Parking Lot. The 2015 theme is “You and I Will Defeat AIDS” – “Tu y Yo Vamos a Derrotar al SIDA.” “Come out, dance, sweat, and enjoy yourself as we create awareness,” said Alyssa Ryan,UVI  Substance Abuse and HIV/AIDS Prevention program project coordinator. Zumba Dance experts as well as Zumba newbies welcomed. Music will be provided by DJ Skelly. Zumba is sponsored by the UVI Substance Abuse and HIV/AIDS Prevention Program/ Student Peer Educators.
