Physics Programs

Program Description

UVI’s Physics program was founded five years ago. Students can earn a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a concentration in Astronomy or Engineering. Students can also elect to complete an Associates of Science in Physics. These programs give students a strong foundation in physics and mathematics. Upon graduation, students can pursue graduate school or careers in astronomy or engineering fields.

Students will have opportunities to conduct research at UVI and partner universities or institutions. Students may also have opportunities to perform internships at local agencies.

While entry level courses can be completed in either campus, degrees must be completed on St. Thomas’ OEK campus.
