Suggested Course Sequence to Graduation
Notes:
  • * Students who matriculate with 24 or more credits do not take these [*] Freshman year courses.
  • Courses needed for Admission to the School of Education. Require a “C” or higher.
  • ^ Must complete requirement in Freshman Year.   Students who have completed 24 or more credits hours will not be able to register unless CLE is passed.
  • Pass English Proficiency Exam (EPE) prior to admission.
  • Pass Computer Literacy Exam (CLE) prior to admission.
  • Maintain a GPA of 2.33 or higher.
  • Students must submit admission application and supportive documents (EPE, CLE and transcript) to academic advisor.
  • Courses needed for Admission to the School of Education. Require a “C” or higher.
  • Admission Interview conducted with academic advisor.
  • ** Student must be admitted to the School of Education to take EDU 250.
  • * Course can be taken concurrently with EDU 250 (Admission Course.)
  • *** Course can be substituted for four semesters of P.E.
  • Students who do not meet admission requirements will not be able to take education courses beyond EDU 230.
  • Recommend student seek evaluation for graduation during the Fall semester of Junior year. Submit a copy to academic advisor.
  • A student who matriculates with 24 or more credits can take two science laboratory courses to satisfy the general education science requirements. Credits can range from 6-9.
