Graduation Requirements

Full‐time students must complete the courses in sequence. While the majority of students complete all school requirements in two years, the maximum period for completion is three academic years while studying on a part‐time basis. Degree candidacy will automatically lapse after this period. All required courses, except the Integrated Thesis must be taken on a letter grade basis. A cumulative grade‐ point average of 3.0 or higher is required for the granting of the degree.

The EMBA degree is awarded once a year during the Summer Quarter. To graduate with an EMBA degree, students must:

  • Successfully complete thirty-six (36) credit hours.
  • Students must have taken the courses in sequence.
  • Students must maintain a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative grade point average (GPA).
  • Students must be enrolled for a minimum of two (2) academic years as a student (i.e., present and participating in all classes).
  • Must complete an Integrated Thesis which is pre‐approved by the Dean’s Office in the SOBEMBA. All Integrated

Thesis work must be completed and submitted to SOBEMBA no later than three months after completion of course work.
