UVI President Safiya George will host her second State of the University Address to the University of the Virgin Islands Community this week. All UVI employees and students are invited to attend this important event, which will provide updates on key institutional priorities, accomplishments, and upcoming initiatives.

Both events will be held in person with a virtual attendance option available for those who prefer to join remotely. A light mix-and-mingle breakfast will be served beginning at 9 a.m. on both campuses. 

President George will deliver her prepared remarks and has reserved time at the end of each session for a Q&A segment, allowing attendees the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly. 

We encourage all members of the UVI community to attend and participate. 

The Provost Address to Faculty, hosted by Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Lora Bailey,  will immediately follow the President’s Address at 11:15 a.m.
