Calling all young scientists in grades 7–12!
The University of the Virgin Islands College of Science and Mathematics invites Virgin Islands students in grades 7 through 12 to participate in the UVI NASA Space Grant Saturday STEM Academy on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026.
This free STEM Academy will allow students to explore the fascinating world of chemistry while learning the art of titration. This real-world laboratory technique combines science, precision, and problem-solving.
Participants will carefully mix solutions drop by drop while watching for a dramatic color change that reveals information about an unknown liquid. Students will discover how this important scientific technique is used in fields such as medicine, environmental science, chemistry, and beyond.
No previous experience is required—just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm for science!
