The University of the Virgin Islands Ph.D. student, Shamika Thomas, will deliver her Dissertation Defense on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. AST via Zoom.

The topic of her Dissertation is “An Inquiry of the Strong Black Woman Cultural Construct and Interpersonal Leadership Traits and Their Effects on Black Women in STEM Undergraduate Studies.”
