The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) is calling on community members, alumni, students, faculty, and staff to serve as volunteers for several signature events scheduled for Spring 2026 on the St. Thomas Campus.

Volunteers are needed for the following events:

  • Afternoon on the Green – Sunday, March 15, 2026

  • Pickleball Tournament – Sunday, March 15, 2026

  • RCA Sessions on the Floor – Saturday, March 21, 2026

  • UVI Commencement (St. Thomas Campus) – Thursday, May 14, 2026

These events are among the University’s most anticipated annual activities, drawing students, families, alumni, and members of the wider Virgin Islands community. Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring each event operates smoothly and delivers a welcoming, well-organized experience for attendees.

“Volunteers are essential to the success of our major campus events,” said Denise Humphrey, Director of the Reichhold Center for the Arts. “Their time, energy, and commitment help us create meaningful experiences for our students and the broader community. We encourage individuals and organizations to join us in making this spring season both impactful and memorable.”

Volunteer opportunities are available in areas such as guest services, registration support, event logistics, hospitality, and general event assistance. Individuals, civic groups, student organizations, and corporate teams are encouraged to participate.
