Graduation Information

Announcement  

The University ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 on the Albert A. Sheen Campus (St. Croix)  and Friday, May 16, 2025 on the Orville E. Kean Campus (St. Thomas).  Both ceremonies will begin promptly at 1 pm AST.

Commencement Page

Invitations & Ticket Pickup Schedule:

 

Orville E. Kean Campus (St. Thomas)- May 14 & 15 2025 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the LaVerne E. Ragster Administration and Conference Center (ACC) 2nd Floor Conference Room.

Albert A. Sheen Campus (St. Croix)-  May 12 and 13, 2025, REC 107 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

 

CAP and  Gown Pick-up Information

Orville E. Kean campus (St. Thomas):   April 25-May 12, 2025; 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Albert A. Sheen campus (St. Croix):    April 24-May9, 2025; 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

 

Graduation Rehearsal

Orville E. Kean campus (St. Thomas):  Tuesday, May 13, 2025, Eldridge  W. Blake Sports and Fitness Center (SFC) at 4:00 pm.

Albert A. Sheen campus (St. Croix):     Monday, May 12, 2025 on the campus ground at 2:30 pm.

Rehearsal is mandatory.

Cap and Gown and Diploma 

In order to receive cap and gowns, student must first apply for graduation via MyCampus.

Deadline to measure for Cap and Gown:

March 17, 2025

Regarding diploma information:

Deadline to Apply for graduation is March 10, 2025.  Application can be found on MyCampus.

Steps to Apply for Graduation:

  1. Login to MyCampus.uvi.edu
  2. Click on BanWeb Cloud
  3. Click on the Student Tab
  4. Click on Student Records
  5. Click Apply to Graduate
  6. Select Term (Spring 2025)

Participation:

  • Only students who have met all graduation requirements can participate in the Commencement Ceremony. All undergraduate students must have completed all required classes in their major with a minimum grade of (C) and a cumulative 2.00 GPA.
  • All graduate students must have completed all required classes in their major with a minimum grade of (B) and a cumulative 3.00 GPA. As a graduate student, you are allowed a maximum of two (C) grades.
