Members of the media are invited to cover and photograph the University of the Virgin Islands New Students Residence Hall Move-in on August 14 on both campuses. Convocation takes place on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix and on the St. Thomas Campus on August 15 and 16, respectively.
Convocation is regarded as the official welcome to the University where faculty members dress in their academic regalia and the president presents the new students with a medallion.
The Fall semester begins on Monday, Aug. 20 and concludes on Dec. 8, 2018.
