
The public is invited to attend the 54th Annual Agriculture and Food Fair of the U.S. Virgin Islands from Feb. 14–16, at the Rudolph Shulterbrandt Agricultural Complex, Estate Lower Love on St. Croix. The theme is “Agriculture and Technology: An Ideal Mix In 2026”. The entrance fee is $8 for adults, $5 for children, and $6 for senior citizens. The fair will open daily from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., with opening ceremonies scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14.
Agrifest 2026 will also feature the Farmer of the Year award presentations on Saturday. Other entertainment will feature: Superior Court Rising Stars Steel Orchestra, Hartatak International, St. Patrick's School Steelpan Orchestra, Partners for Strings (STT), Xpress Band, Stanley and the Ten Sleepless Knights, 411 Live Band, I-Land Boyz Pan Experience, La Fuerza VZ, Guardians of Culture Mokojumbies, AY AY Cultural Dancers, Fair Wear Extravaganza and so much more.
Family fun will include interesting and attractive exhibits, demonstrations, entertainment, challenging competitions, games, prize-winning animals, a variety of delicious local foods and beverages, along with fun fellowship with friends and relatives from neighboring islands. In addition to participants from all three U.S. Virgin Islands, guests are expected to arrive from Antigua, Barbuda, St. Kitts & Nevis Guyana, St. Lucia, and Grenada.
“Our 2026 theme reflects the importance of modern scientific innovations and their role in realizing maximum agricultural productivity for the benefit of all. The interface between these two sectors is not only essential for agricultural productivity and success, but also for encouraging and attracting the younger generation to pursue careers in agriculture,” said Agrifest Board President and Commissioner of Agriculture, Dr. Louis E. Petersen, Jr.
