UVI Psychology Club to Host International Survivor of Suicide Loss Day on Nov. 18

The University of Virgin Islands Psychology Club in collaboration with Jared’s Keepers Foundation, Inc. will host the International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Nov. 18, with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m., in rooms 102-103 of the Northwest Wing on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix. 

The event’s schedule will feature the screening of two films, “The Journey: A Story of Healing and Hope” and “The Journey Revisited.”

This is the 19th annual event that has grown from a few locations within the Continental US to a worldwide event with thousands of locations.  The Psychology Club has sponsored this event since 2011 and it is the first Survivor Day event in the Caribbean.
