September 14, 2016

UVI Dining Café on the St. Thomas Campus

Dahlia Stridiron-Felix, (340) 693-1136, dstridi@uvi.edu

It’s become common knowledge that alcohol is a major factor that contributes to sexual assaults. The statistics show that freshman students are more at-risk to experience sexual assault in the first six weeks after starting college. Join the UVI Counseling & Career Services Department and Substance Abuse & HIV/AIDS Prevention Program on Wednesday, September 14th at 3:00 p.m. in the Commuter’s Lounge in the Sports and Fitness Center or at 7:30 p.m. in the UVI Dining Café for a candid discussion on alcohol abuse and sexual assault on college campuses. For more information, contact 340-693-1122 or 340-693-1134. " But they were both drunk."
