THE AGRICULTURE AND FOOD FAIR OF U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS ANNOUNCES POSTPONEMENT OF THE
ANNUAL FOOD FAIR FOR 2021
February 3, 2021, US Virgin Islands – After much gut-wrenching contemplation, discussion, and weighing, the Agriculture
and Food Fair of the U.S.V.I., Board of Directors is sad to announce that due to ongoing
uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic and the safety of our Virgin Islands Society,
the Annual Agriculture and Food Fair of the U.S.V.I. 2021 is postponed until February 2022. We will recognize and celebrate the acknowledgment deserving
of a fiftieth (50th) Anniversary Celebration in Grandeur Fashion in 2022.
We apologize for any inconvenience and disappointments this may cause. Our safety
is of paramount importance.
Vendors can pursue opportunities at VIDA’s Saturday Market Farmer’s Exchange.
A Virtual Teaser to the 50th Annual Agriculture & Food Fair of the U.S. Virgin Islands
will take place on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. on the UVI Cooperative Extension Service Facebook page.

AgFair 2020 CANCELLED
The Virgin Islands community is hereby informed of the cancellation of the annual St. Thomas/St. John Agriculture and Food Fair which is traditionally held on St. Thomas during the month of November. This decision was made as a result of concerns related to the on-going Coronavirus Pandemic. The event sponsors – the University of the Virgin Islands Cooperative Extension Service, the Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture, Fintrac, and the membership of the St. Thomas/St. John Agriculture and Food Fair Committee express their heartfelt appreciation to the vendors, patrons, and the community in general who make this family-friendly event possible each year.

The St. Thomas-St. John Agriculture and Food Fair Committee is an organizing group consisting of staff from the University of the Virgin Islands Cooperative Extension Service, the Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture and Fintrac along with members from the general community.
